...nach erfolgloser Suche hab ich immer noch folgendes Problemchen:
Mein Sohn hat seinen Rechner auf WIN 10 geupdatet. Hat auch vorher die Kompatibilitätsprüfung gemacht.
Nun wird aber sein DVD-Laufwerk nicht mehr erkannt. Es ist ein LG GH24NS90
Laut LG-Seite gibts da wohl keine Treiber für WIn 10.
gibts da eine Möglichkeit das Teil trotzdem zum laufen zu kriegen oder muß er sich ein neues zulegen?

Wurde schon das Firmwareupdate auf IN01-02 mit Windows 8 Support gemacht: http://www.lg.com/us/support-product/lg-GH24NS90 ?

If you can't find your drive in the Device Manager, several users have solved the issue by doing the following:

Open Device Manager (right-click the windows icon, choose Device Manager).
Expand IDE ATA/ATAPI.
Uninstall both ATA Channels 0 and 1 (there may be multiples of each, uninstall them all).
Note: If IDE ATA/ATAPI does not have ATA Channels, uninstall the Controller. This should be the only item in this area if there are no channels.
Reboot immediately (you should be prompted to restart after removing the last one).
